Education for human flourishing: A conceptual framework

Education for Human Flourishing (EHF) is a 

broad framework developed by the OECDto guide education systems toward nurturing well-rounded individuals capable of living meaningful lives, fostering societal well-being, and tackling global crises, moving beyond just academic metrics to focus on core competencies like adaptive problem-solving, ethical awareness, understanding the world, appreciating it, and acting within it, while integrating holistic needs (security, relationships, growth). It redefines educational success to include personal fulfillment, community contribution, and sustainability, not just test scores, to prepare students for complex futures.
